A good example of the current trend to direct country music back to its roots is talented artist Idaho Blue. Like a lot of traditional country artists, he comes from a rural background with a lot of family support. In his own words, "I was born and raised on a cattle ranch in the mountains of Idaho. I fixed fence, milked cows and fed chickens on the same ranch my great-great grandpa settled over 100 years ago. Even though I was born in the 70's, my childhood was like stepping back in time." Like many country artists in the early stages of their careers, Idaho Blue has had to be a jack of all trades. He says, "I love music. There is nothing else I would rather do. I've done door to door sales, phone surveying, and business management to keep food on the table. Since moving to Nashville several years ago, I've enjoyed working for several of my favorite country stars. Hopefully the work will pay off soon, but I'm in it for the long haul!"

Like a lot of country artists making their way in today's world, Idaho Blue decided to go straight to the country audience using the web. He currently uses Mp3 to get his songs heard by the rest of the world.
