A trip to New York isn't exactly the first trip we think a promising country music artist would make. But that's exactly the first trip April's featured artist, MC Potts, made when she left her Ohio home in 1990. Working on her country music dream from the Big Apple presented her with a few problems, though. Not the least of which was the fact that country music's heart and soul beat from Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. Around 1992, she and her husband decided to make Music City, U.S.A. their home. She hasn't looked back ever since that move. As one of Critique Records' most promising artists, she's also managed to get a nomination from the TNN/Music City News Awards as one of country music's 'Stars of Tomorrow'. But this overnight success was a long time in coming. Hear more from MC as she talks with our own Lance Yelvington in an exclusive interview about her experiences, and dreams for the future.
